Three years later, she said, she was raped by the same man. \u003cbr/\u003eMark Fabbro said he had travelled from Australia to seek justice for abuse victims. He alleged he had been raped by a priest in Melbourne at the age of 11. \u003cbr/\u003eFabbro said he had a chance to meet the Pope, he would call on him to hand over to the police all Vatican documents on the issue.\u003cbr/\u003ePete Saunders, who led the news conference, alleged he had been abused by a priest, and so had his brother - who subsequently became an alcoholic and died. \u003cbr/\u003eSaunders runs the National Association for People Abused in Childhood.\u003cbr/\u003eHe said the Papal visit had stirred up very painful memories, particularly as the alleged abuse had taken place in Wimbledon in southwest London - very close to where the Pope will stay during his trip. \u003cbr/\u003eChurch officials have indicated the Pope will meet privately with abuse victims during his visit, as he has on several previous foreign tours.\u003cbr/\u003eNone of the survivors who addressed the news conference Wednesday said they had been asked to meet the Pontiff, nor did they know anyone who had.\u003cbr/\u003e1. I had to go to confession to him on the same day - no doubt he absolved me of the sins he had just committed. I was raped by the same man when I was thirteen in my home, in my bedroom. My mother disturbed him - she knew I'd been raped but she did nothing, she was too fearful. She asked me to pray for him, saying it was one of God's plans. I lost a brother to alcoholism a couple of years ago and he had also been abused by one of those priests. He'd got into a pattern of drug abuse and alcoholism while he was still at school, I remember that, and he subsequently died. So the Papal visit has stirred up a lot of very painful memories for me, particularly as the man is coming to stay in Wimbledon, which is where I was born and brought up, and where I was abused.
