But when we dance, we forget about everything.\"\u003cbr/\u003eFederico Fortun, a neurologist at La Paz's biggest general hospital, Hospital de Clinicas, is a great believer in the benefits of dance therapy.\u003cbr/\u003e\"There are several movement disabilities where controlled actions triggered by the brain can prove beneficial,\" he said.\u003cbr/\u003eThe patients perform outside the confines of the hospital too - in front of live audiences, often to standing ovations.\u003cbr/\u003eThe dance does not replace other therapies, but it helps patients socialise and rehabilitate their minds and bodies. \u003cbr/\u003e1.
