Wide of people outside exhibition centre with ArteBA signs around entrance \u003cbr/\u003eWorks by the Latin world's most influential artists, plus pieces by recent fine art graduates,  are currently on show at ArteBE.\u003cbr/\u003eIt's Buenos Aires' annual contemporary art fair. \u003cbr/\u003eThe 21st annual ArteBA offers the opportunity to explore what's new on the Latin American art scene.  \u003cbr/\u003eSouth America's largest contemporary art fair attracts international attention and focuses the spotlight on the region's artistic talent. \u003cbr/\u003eBuenos Aires is becoming an increasingly important destination for art collectors and enthusiasts from both hemispheres as galleries, art spaces and exhibitions have sprung up on the streets of the capital's fashionable districts.  \u003cbr/\u003eHoused in the city's central exhibition centre, La Rural, the five-day event expects to attract over one hundred and twenty thousand people, who will come to enjoy some of the eight hundred and fifty works displayed throughout the eighty-one gallery spaces.   \u003cbr/\u003eThe fair's president Facundo Minujin, says the fair encourages growth in the local art market.  \u003cbr/\u003e\"We have a lot of continuity now - we've been doing this for the past 21 years, so in a number of ways we are now extremely established in the world of international art fairs,\" he adds.  \u003cbr/\u003eArteBA has developed from its small beginnings to embrace exhibitors from around the globe. Many of the spaces enjoy multi-national collaborations and the event is seen as an opportunity to allow artists to come together in a physical and intellectual exchange. \u003cbr/\u003eThe event draws artists, curators, gallery owners and art enthusiasts together and hosts high-profile international collectors, among them gallery owners and celebrities.  \u003cbr/\u003eGuest curator Abaseh Mirvali draws on her multicultural background to curate a collection that she says is defined by its abstract common theme of lines rather than national frontiers.  \u003cbr/\u003e\"It is not just an international, commercial space that we've opened. This time I got to make something that can perhaps can do something for me in the future.\" \u003cbr/\u003ePablo Siquier, one of Argentina's most renowned contemporary artists, demonstrates the beauty of chaos in his complex works, which are collected and exhibited in galleries around the world. \u003cbr/\u003eAs a long-term contributor to ArteBA, he says he believes Buenos Aires has established itself as a beacon of exciting talent.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Buenos Aires is a big city, monstrous, like Sao Paulo, like Mexico City. They are really very strong art scenes.\" \u003cbr/\u003eThe fair is always careful to promote the region's up-and-coming talent, alongside the more established artists like Pablo Siquier.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe 'Barrio Joven' or Youth District provides a vibrant setting in which new artists can promote their various art forms. \u003cbr/\u003eThe art on display ranges from traditional canvases to textiles, performance art and sculpture. \u003cbr/\u003eIt is from this area of ArteBA, that contemporary art enthusiasts and talent scouts hope to find the country's new art
