Several iconic items from tinsel town's golden age are going on the auction block in New York City next week.\u003cbr/\u003eMovie props, costumes, scripts, posters, and promotional art from classic movies like \"Casablanca\", \"The Wizard of Oz\", and \"Gone With The Wind\" are being sold at Bonham's auction house. \u003cbr/\u003eCatherine Williamson, director of entertainment memorabilia at Bonham's estimates the items including the cowardly lion costume from 'The Wizard of Oz' and the piano on which Sam played As Time Goes By in \"Casablanca\" will fetch in the seven figures.\u003cbr/\u003e\"So many of us have seen and loved these movies over the years that we recognize the items when we see them,\" said Williamson adding that their notoriety makes more valuable in the collecting community.\u003cbr/\u003eThe sale is being billed as \"There's No Place Like Hollywood\" and will feature over three hundred and fifty pieces of movie memorabilia from classic Hollywood. \u003cbr/\u003eThere are also items from the collection of movie critic Gene Siskel, including memorabilia from Spike Lee's movie 'Do The Right Thing.'\u003cbr/\u003eBonham's is partnering with Turner Classic Movies to bring the movie memorabilia to auction.\u003cbr/\u003eThe hammer drops Monday, November 24th at 1pm EDT.
