So I started a new method. I wanted to do something in my dog's memory where I would roll through paint, I'd have him walk through it so I'd have the tyre tracks and the paw prints alongside each other. (March 1-5)\u003cbr/\u003eThe indoor art fair is the biggest in the world and attracts thousands of buyers and art dealers to the city's Javits Convention Centre. \u003cbr/\u003eEach year more than 500 galleries and hundreds of publishers, art dealers and artists offer scores of artwork for display at the exhibition. \u003cbr/\u003ePaintings, sculpture, photography, etchings, decorative and digital arts all come together under one roof. \u003cbr/\u003eNow more than a quarter-century old, Artexpo New York  attracts nearly 40,000 fine art trade buyers and collectors in search of emerging trends in the fine art world.\u003cbr/\u003eRonnie Wood's self-portrait is an example of one trend that is rapidly gaining popularity: 'celebrity art'  - paintings; sculptures etc of and by celebrities.\u003cbr/\u003eDanny Stern, an art representative, says that celebrity art helps fans connect on a deeper level with their idols. \u003cbr/\u003eBuyers were also drawn to the personal histories of the artists. \u003cbr/\u003eTommy Hollenstein, a California-based artist, paints using his wheelchair and his dog after an accident left him paralysed.\u003cbr/\u003eHollenstein says he  wanted to do something in his dog's memory where he would roll through paint then have the dog walk through it so that the tyre tracks and the paw prints appear alongside each other. \u003cbr/\u003eChuck Jones is the artist who created 'Bugs Bunny' and 'Wile E. Coyote'. His collection of paintings is the longest running set of 'celebrity art' available.\u003cbr/\u003eChuck Jones' grandson, Craig Kausen says his grandfather used to imagine the characters as real and he simply captured moments of their lives.\u003cbr/\u003eStern said that while 'celebrity art' has always been popular and that celebrities are contemporary versions of royalty, gods or deities.\u003cbr/\u003eThe displays at the exhibition are also being used to raise awareness of correct art conservation and framing
