Sanders Saul said the end election result in Florida would not have been any different with a manual recount.\u003cbr/\u003eGore attorney David Boies immediately announced he would appeal to the Florida Supreme Court.\u003cbr/\u003eAs important as his ruling was, the safest prediction was that Sauls would not have the final word. \u003cbr/\u003eNot only was the Gore side appealing to the Florida Supreme Court, but there was also the prospect of additional manoeuvring, based on the ruling the U-S Supreme Court issued earlier.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English) \u003cbr/\u003e\"In this case there is no credible statistical evidence and no other competent substantial evidence to establish by preponderance a reasonable probability that the results of the state-wide election in the state of Florida would be different from the result which has been certified by the State Elections Canvassing Commission. The court further finds and concludes the evidence does not establish any illegality, dishonesty, gross negligence, improper influence, coercion or fraud in the balloting and counting processes.
