I chose two wonderful British directors, Stephen Frears, and Ken Loach. They are both very political. They are both still developing stories about the working class of England.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe response was so positive from the directors, it solidified her determination to take her vision to an audience.\u003cbr/\u003eMoney was raised through Anisma Films, her New York-based production company, and over the next four and a half years, 250 hours of film were shot and edited.\u003cbr/\u003e\"When I started the project with the directors, speaking directly in camera I had some idea of what I wanted to develop but I will never forget what Bernardo Bertolucci told me,\" she said. \"'You become a director on the set when you have to face the cameras your crew, that is when you become a director.
