of Christians in Iraq and the Middle East in general. \u003cbr/\u003eOn Friday, Delly said he had told Benedict that he hoped being named Iraq's first cardinal would help bring peace and reconciliation to the country.\u003cbr/\u003eAt the North American College, new Cardinal Daniel Di Nardo, from Galveston-Houston Texas greeted dozens of pilgrims.  \u003cbr/\u003eDi Nardo said his most difficult moment was when he thought he might lose his new red hat, as the Pope placed it on his head. \u003cbr/\u003e\"That was my major thought was I'm gonna lose my hat but I recovered, he did, he helped me do it,\" Di Nardo said.\u003cbr/\u003eAt the Irish College in Rome, Cardinal Sean Brady talked about what he thought he new job entails - continuing his pastoral work as the Archbishop of Armagh and offering honest advice to the Pope.\u003cbr/\u003eOn Sunday, Benedict was to give each new 'prince' of the church his cardinal's ring.\u003cbr/\u003eEighteen of the 23 new cardinals are under age 80 and thus eligible to vote in a conclave to elect a future pontiff.\u003cbr/\u003eWith Saturday's ceremony, there are now 201 members of the College of Cardinals, 120 of whom can vote in a conclave. \u003cbr/\u003eEurope claims the lion's share, with 104 cardinals, followed by 34 from Latin America, 20 from North America, 21 from Asia, 18 from Africa and four from
