I caused a lot of hurt with people and I spread a lot of hate through this nation. And I was no better than Metzger or David Duke or any of them, I was right in the middle of the pig pen with them.  \u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Johnny Lee Clary, Former Ku Klux Klan member \u003cbr/\u003eClary quit the Klan in disgust after a white power summit degenerated into a fist fight.\u003cbr/\u003eAfter a bout with depression, he went to church.\u003cbr/\u003eBible readings made him realise that the Klan had twisted biblical passages to suit their own racist views.\u003cbr/\u003eOnce I read the Bible I found out that all this junk that the Klan had been teaching for years saying that the Klan were the real Christians was lies. That the Bible talked about how it was for all races of people, how God created all mankind and He did not favour one race over the other.\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Johnny Lee Clary, Former Ku Klux Klan member\u003cbr/\u003eClary now preaches in California at a bi-racial church.\u003cbr/\u003eHe has also written a book, called \"Boys in the Hoods\".\u003cbr/\u003eIt chronicles his life in the Klan and his rejection of the group's teachings. \u003cbr/\u003eHe warns that while their membership numbers are small, hate groups still flourish in America amid the apathy of the greater population. \u003cbr/\u003eClary warns that this spark of hatred could cause more terror attacks - like the Oklahoma bombing last April.\u003cbr/\u003eThese people are determined, they're serious about what they're doing. They're determined to cause a race war in this country.
