borders.\u003cbr/\u003eThey are to serve as centers of information and orientation on human rights for immigrants reporting human rights abuses.\u003cbr/\u003eEight specially designed mobile offices will be in operation as of next week.\u003cbr/\u003eEach  equipped with radio communication systems, GPS (global positioning system) audiovisual equipment, computers, work space and a water processing plant. \u003cbr/\u003eThe units were designed with specifications given by the local Ombudsman Jose Luis Soberanes Fernandez. \u003cbr/\u003eThey cost  60 - thousand  US dollars each.\u003cbr/\u003eSix of the units will cover the northern border with the United States in  Ciudad Juarez, Tijuana, Nogales and Reynosa and two will be deployed in the Southern border with Guatemala in Tapachula, Villahermosa and San Cristobal in specific locations known as crossing points for immigrants. \u003cbr/\u003eThe goals of the National Commission of Human Rights are to promote the defence of human rights in remote areas as well as fair and decent treatment to citizens and immigrants that are victims of abuses from local authorities. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Commission expects
