You know, especially on young girls.  I am in two minds about it.  I think it's slightly unfair that all the kind of responsibility seems to devolve upon fashion because we are just one of many industries.  Also, I think that there are two ways to look at it.   There's skinny and there's anorexic with an eating problem.  I think skinny models are not necessarily anorexic.  I think that is quite important to establish but having said that I think it's quite responsible of fashion to say, 'right, let's be careful, you know let's just watch, let's make sure that we don't have models that do look too skinny.'\"\u003cbr/\u003e7. And this is really about healthy young girls and I love the idea that it is not so important to be so, so, so skinny... that you look like a zipper... (laughs)  but it shouldn't be so valued. I mean the girls in this show were very beautiful at Valentino and certainly they weren't all really thin. But, I do think this is a great step. It's glamorous and it is full of femininity, that's it.\"\u003cbr/\u003eValentino showed off his latest collection at Paris's Ecole Superieure Des Beaux Arts, with models stepping out into a white room divided into small alcoves of tulle, lit by post-modern neon chandeliers.  \u003cbr/\u003eReferences to the sixties, when Valentino's clients included Jackie Kennedy, included an ivory silk brocade coat with tubular piping, high-waisted bubble skirts and diamond bauble earrings. And there was the obligatory Grecian-pleated gown in white chiffon.\u003cbr/\u003eWhite dominated the show, at times enriched with the most delicate shades of yellow, pink and lavender, with fabrics including taffeta, origami, stone-studded embroidery and shiny and bright precious metals.\u003cbr/\u003eAs Paris fashion week gets underway the skinny model debate continues to rage. \u003cbr/\u003eFashion editor of the Daily Telegraph, Hilary Alexander, thinks there are two ways of looking at\u003cbr/\u003e\"There's skinny and there's anorexic with an eating problem.
