Once again inspired by Russian choreographer Vaslav Nijinsky's ballet \"Afternoon of the Faun\" of the Ballets Russes, the collection showcased forest nymphs with theatrical looks.\u003cbr/\u003e\"This is kind of an extension of my men's show because I use the same title per season. The season's title was \"Faun\" in reference to Debussy's \"Afternoon of a Faun\" and the ballet and kind of the whole modernist movement which was very provocative at the time, that ballet. I've always liked the idea of this beautiful, cultured, rigid, rigorous world of ballet, and the glitter of the culture that's attached to it,\" Owens said. \u003cbr/\u003eStructured garments with soft architecture, such as strapless dresses and sleeveless tunics, were layered with long vests and worn with towering muted and metallic wedges. All I'm saying is that when I try and make clothes, I'm trying to do something that's modern and kind of brutalist and kind of modernist. I like to think of modernism when I'm making clothes. I was joking earlier, I was thinking, you know if Marcel Breuer or one of those most brutal of architects, like made a house out of tulle, what would it look like?
