It's calming, it helps you unwind, relax. If you've had a tough day you can just relax and unwind, to really let go and take yourself into that meditational state of mind.\"\u003cbr/\u003eA few years ago hot yoga was the latest craze, classes sprang up at leisure centres and yoga schools across the UK.\u003cbr/\u003eIt involves doing yoga moves in temperatures of up to fifty degrees.\u003cbr/\u003eHot yoga is now so popular that this company has created a mobile hot pod so you can hold classes wherever you choose.\u003cbr/\u003eIt was too dark to film inside the pod during today's workout, but Dell Eyre and Shirley Hammond emerged wet with sweat and feeling exhilarated.\u003cbr/\u003eEyre says: \"It was very intense, much harder than I thought it was going to be.\"\u003cbr/\u003eHammond's friends are fans of hot yoga and it's her first time in the pod.\u003cbr/\u003eShe says: \"It was really fantastic.  The instructor was very good telling us to do really slow movements until we got properly warmed up, so it was really very good.\"\u003cbr/\u003eStatues of the reclining Buddha are the only things here to appear relaxed.\u003cbr/\u003eGetting around the hundreds of events and yoga related stands is hard work and some visitors take time out for a rejuvenating massage.\u003cbr/\u003eIf you fancy hanging from the rafters during your yoga work out these swings might be just the thing you've been looking for.\u003cbr/\u003eThe owner of Swing Fitness is Kerrie Neal.\u003cbr/\u003eShe explains: \"What you can do is you can go deeper into your poses, so you have that little bit of support from the swing which enables you to go deeper. It enables you to hold the pose longer because you have that little bit of support and it assists with your alignment, so you can correct your alignment because you're not focussing so much on your balance.\"\u003cbr/\u003eIt's not just the grown ups that are enjoying the swings, these youngsters are out to show off a few poses of their own.\u003cbr/\u003eBoxing instructors say there's been a renaissance of the sport in the UK since the London olympics.\u003cbr/\u003eNow a boxing club owner has incorporated it into a whole new yoga regime.\u003cbr/\u003eIt combines yoga stretches with muscle trembling postures.\u003cbr/\u003eThe routine is the idea of Matt Garcia who runs a London boxing club.\u003cbr/\u003eAccording to Garcia the discipline of yoga and boxing are similar and athletes from a number of sports including rugby, are signing up.\u003cbr/\u003eGarcia says: \"We specialise in non-contact boxing training, real boxing without the risk of getting punched in the face and we're finding that for our people who train at the club, for our fighters and for those just looking to get fit, we wanted to offer a yoga that complemented the workout that boxing provides\"\u003cbr/\u003eHe says: \"Boxing requires a stillness of the mind, a calmness of the breath, a control and grace and actually when you look at it from that way, when you look at the needs of a boxer, there are a great deal of similarities, it's very important for boxers to maintain that focus and, as I say to be flexible and loose. They say a loose boxer is a fast boxer and that's what Boxing Yoga helps to provide.\"  \u003cbr/\u003eBoxing Yoga isn't the only class where you need to work out your muscles as well as your mind.\u003cbr/\u003eYou won't get a chance to touch the ground with Mark Freeth's Feet Flying Up in the Air yoga.\u003cbr/\u003eFreeth came from a martial arts background, but grew weary of combat sport.\u003cbr/\u003eHe wasn't quite ready for the classic yoga experience so he devised his own incorporating gymnastic balances which require muscles of steel as well as a highly developed sense of balance.\u003cbr/\u003eFreeth admits it's not what most people expect.\u003cbr/\u003eHe says: \"We emphasise the gymnastic, the standing poses, the handstands, things that really make people feel challenged. Challenged in a good way, we ask people to come and step up to the plate and it's okay if they don't want to, there's always a modification, a variation, but we want people to explore what their minds and bodies are capable of.\"\u003cbr/\u003eIf this looks too daunting and the thought of belly dancing is too much, why not take a spin with an old favourite from the school playground.\u003cbr/\u003eThe hoola hoop is as popular today as it was decades ago.\u003cbr/\u003eLondon, UK, October 27, 2013\u003cbr/\u003e1.
