That is on the allegation that her father was keeping her in Pakistan in illegal and improper custody. After many rounds of arguments in the court, today a final argument was addressed by both sides. It extended over three hours. At the end of it, the learned judge Mr. Saquib Nisar of Lahore High Court announced an oral order to the effect the the writ petition filed by the mother is accepted, the child that is Miss (Misbah Iram Ahmed Rana) alias Molly Campbell is ordered to be handed over to a representative of the British High Commission within seven days from today.\"\u003cbr/\u003e6. Molly walking with her father \u003cbr/\u003eA Pakistani high court ruled on Wednesday that a British-Pakistani girl at the centre of an international custody battle must be returned to her mother in Britain.\u003cbr/\u003eThe decision by Judge Saquib Nisar at the Lahore High Court orders Molly Campbell, also known as Misbah Iram Ahmed Rana, to be released to British authorities within a week.\u003cbr/\u003eThe judged ruled custody be given to the girl's mother. \u003cbr/\u003eHer father was ordered to hand her over to some senior female officer of the British High Commission within seven days. \u003cbr/\u003eThe girl's lawyer, Dr. Abdul Basit, said the decision was reached \"after many rounds of arguments in the court\". \u003cbr/\u003eHe added that he will appeal the decision to the Supreme Court, the next step in the appeals process, in an effort to keep her in Pakistan.\u003cbr/\u003eThe 12-year-old girl arrived in Lahore in August from her mother's home in Scotland with her Pakistani father and elder sister.\u003cbr/\u003eThe girl's mother, Louise Campbell, was awarded custody of her daughter in 2005 and claims she was illegally taken from Scotland to Pakistan by her father.\u003cbr/\u003eMolly's mother's lawyer, Naheeda Mahboob Elahi welcomed the decision as an implementation of justice.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Things have been put to right. The child was illegally imported to Pakistan,\" said Elahi. \u003cbr/\u003e\"My client is very happy, I am very happy. We are very excited, and we're going to celebrate this, both of us together,\" she added.\u003cbr/\u003eThe girl's parents were married in a Muslim ceremony in Glasgow in 1984, and had two sons and two daughters. \u003cbr/\u003eAfter the marriage broke down, the children lived with their father and moved to Pakistan. All the children later returned to Britain to live with their mother but are now back in Pakistan.\u003cbr/\u003eScottish police have said the case could amount to a violation of the Child Abduction Act.\u003cbr/\u003eBut the girl has publicly said she left of her own free will, and wanted to live with her father whose Islamic culture in Pakistan, she said, suited her
