Flavoured condoms have gone on sale in the predominantly Catholic country ... and  while the public seems to have accepted...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eEnglish/Nat\u003cbr/\u003eA new product is doing big business in the Philippines ... and dividing the country at the  same time. \u003cbr/\u003eFlavoured condoms have gone on sale in the predominantly Catholic country ... and  while the public seems to have accepted them ... the church has not.\u003cbr/\u003eIt's concerned by what it sees as another attempt to trivialise the sacredness of sex.  \u003cbr/\u003eThis is a play called \"Condom Capers\".  \u003cbr/\u003eIt is being staged by condom suppliers DKT International around the country as  part of  an AIDS awareness programme.\u003cbr/\u003eDKT is a non-profit organization based in Washington (USA), involved in AIDS  prevention and family planning. \u003cbr/\u003eThe main star of the play is this blue mascot, \"Super Condom\", shown here having an  encounter with another character called \"HIV\".\u003cbr/\u003eThe play's premise is to give advice on how one can be protected against the HIV virus  which leads to AIDS.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe idea is to encourage the use of condoms....and to add extra excitement in  lovemaking they recommend flavoured condoms.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Many of them are not using condoms and when asked why, they said they disagree  with the  flavour or the smell is disagreeable, so the logical thing to have these people  use condoms will be to add a flavour.\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Craig Darden, General Manager DKT\u003cbr/\u003eInternational\u003cbr/\u003eBut the Catholic church here has always opposed  groups promoting the use of  condoms saying that it encourages casual sex...and now that condoms are being  flavoured the clergy is speaking out.\u003cbr/\u003eYou know this thing about flavoured condoms,  you know what they're insinuating here  again....oral sex, oral sex, that's what they're insinuating.
