Pull back view as crowd applauds\u003cbr/\u003eUnited States Secretary of State Colin Powell said on Friday that US efforts to get more international help in Iraq have one goal -- to eventually return full power to the Iraqi people. \u003cbr/\u003eIn a speech at George Washington University in the nation's capital, Powell acknowledged that some allies have reservations about the new  UN resolution Washington is now seeking.\u003cbr/\u003ePowell said some nations want to see the US-led coalition move along faster in Iraq, while others want to be more cautious. The US will listen to their suggestions, according to Powell, as they negotiate over the resolution, which will be the subject of informal debate in the UN Security Council Friday.\u003cbr/\u003eThe resolution calls for a broader role for the UN and other nations in Iraq, but retains American military and political control. Powell said that since Americans make up the majority of the coalition, it made sense for any multinational force to have an American commander.\u003cbr/\u003ePowell has also re-affirmed the administration's support for the Palestinian Prime Minister, Mahmoud Abbas.\u003cbr/\u003eAbbas should have full authority over the Palestinian security forces and finances, according to Powell, so
