And then in 1996 we where introduced to Suzette le Sueur who is the executive director of the Dance Factory, and she offered us formal training which was ballet, creative movement, contemporary, and I think ja (yes), from then I decided I really liked it that's what I wanted to do with my life.\"\u003cbr/\u003e13. They started taking classes here and I joined them.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThese days you have to be seven years old to join. \u003cbr/\u003eChildren are selected at the annual audition, which takes place each January. \u003cbr/\u003eSuccessful dancers attend classes in both contemporary dance and classical ballet, given by experienced, professional teachers. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Dance Factory is a non-fee paying institution, but students are constantly assessed and students who do not make progress, or miss classes are asked to leave. \u003cbr/\u003eThe programme receives financial support from the Royal Netherlands Embassy (through the Arts and Culture Trust) and from the National Lottery Distribution Fund.\u003cbr/\u003eTshepo says that Dance Factory offered him a new future. \u003cbr/\u003e\"This is where I experience the dance world particularly, because everything started here, that's where I met the people I've met, the people I have worked with, I've met here.
