It's not unusual for hundreds of bargain hunters to queue outside the imposing Knightsbridge building overnight and a good turn out is always guaranteed by the presence of a glamourous \"A\" grade star to get the sales frenzy underway. \u003cbr/\u003eIn previous years, Richard Gere, Pierce Brosnan, Cher, Goldie Hawn, and Diana Ross have done the honours. But this year was the year of Italian actress, Sophia Loren.\u003cbr/\u003eAfter suffering heart problems last August, the 64 year old actress seemed fit and well as she arrived in the usual horse drawn carriage.\u003cbr/\u003eShe still retains the beauty that made her such an alluring presence in films such as ``Marriage, Italian Style' and ``Two Women', for which she won the Best Actress Oscar. \u003cbr/\u003eHer American film credits include 'Pret-A-Porter' (Ready to Wear), 'The Pride and the Princess' (1955), 'The Black Orchid' (1958), 'El Cid' (1961), and 'Heller in Pink Tights' (1960) as well as the British movie 'The Millionairess' (1961) with comedian Peter Sellers.  Her Italian triumphs include 'La donna del fiume', 'La Ciociara', 'Boy on a Dolphin', 'Il Viaggio', and 'Una Giornata particolare'.\u003cbr/\u003eHowever, despite the glitz and glamour that goes with the sensuous star, there was a brief moment of embarrassment as Loren went headlong from the stage to the feet of the press who had gathered for the photo call of her with Harrod's owner, Mohamed Al Fayed.
