Look, sending in suicide, homicide bombers to attack civilians and to target civilians is unacceptable - terrorism is unacceptable and it's a not a good strategy because it's not a strategy that's ever going to work. It's not a strategy which is going to be extracting concessions and it's very important that this is thought about. It's a strategy that's leading to to the erection of the barrier and the Israelis have the capacity to build the barrier and we've said to the Israel that we don't like the path that they're planning to take - it goes far too far into the Palestinian territories. Downer leaving\u003cbr/\u003eAustralian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer on Tuesday said he disagreed with the planned path of the barrier Israel is building along the West Bank. \u003cbr/\u003eDowner said he could understand why Israel found it necessary to build a security fence but said it went too far into the Palestinian territories. \u003cbr/\u003eDowner was speaking at the United Nations headquarters in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood in east Jerusalem. \u003cbr/\u003eIsrael says the barrier is meant to protect against suicide bombers, but Palestinians call the barrier, which dips deep into the West Bank in several\u003cbr/\u003eplaces, as a seizure of land where they hope to establish a state.\u003cbr/\u003eThe International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands, is set to review the legality of the barrier next month. \u003cbr/\u003eIsrael has vociferously objected to the court's handling the case but is working on its case to present to the tribunal.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Palestinian leadership is thought to have boycotted meeting Downer since he did not agree to meet with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. \u003cbr/\u003eDowner said that
