Media surrounding lawyers\u003cbr/\u003eThe Israeli Supreme Court ruled 6-1 on Thursday that a toddler, who is almost two years old and known as the \"disputed baby\", will remain with his adoptive parents.\u003cbr/\u003eThe ruling came in Jerusalem after a protracted legal battle between the child's adoptive parents, who have raised him since he was 10 days old, and the biological parents, who filed to regain custody.\u003cbr/\u003eThe biological mother discovered she was pregnant during her eighth month of pregnancy and gave up the baby immediately after the birth. \u003cbr/\u003eShe initially refused to inform the father that he had a son. \u003cbr/\u003eBut two months after the child was born she changed her mind about giving him up and revealed the truth to the father. The two then turned to the court to try to reclaim their son from the adoptive couple.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe Supreme Court decision reversed earlier rulings by the Tel Aviv District Court and Family Court that the toddler be returned to his biological parents.  \u003cbr/\u003eIn a 2-1 decision, the Tel Aviv District Court ruled last December that it would be best for the child to be raised by his biological parents, since the adoptive father suffers from a terminal kidney disease that a court-appointed expert estimated would kill him in about seven years.  \u003cbr/\u003eBut the Supreme Court ruled that the future was equally uncertain for the biological parents, as they have had long periods of separation in the past.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe adoptive parents appealed the district court decision to the Supreme Court, and were joined in their appeal by Israeli Attorney General Menachem Mazuz, who argued that the best interest of the child was to be raised by his adoptive parents, who are the only parents he has known.\u003cbr/\u003eThe court also ruled that the biological parents won't have another opportunity to see the child. \u003cbr/\u003eFollowing the decision, a lawyer for the biological parents said he would study the decision and talk to his clients before making further comment.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe lawyers also said the legal team would file a motion for an
