But up till now there is no news, and this uncertainly has proven, by default, a kind of freefall in the stock market. And because of that we have witnessed almost 600 points' decline in the market since morning and at one time there was a breach of 13,000 index, which was technical price flooring for the market. But after some time there was a little bit of clarity regarding emergency, the market has bounced back a little bit. Various broker on trading floor\u003cbr/\u003ePakistan's stock market dropped sharply on Thursday over fears that the government was set to impose a state of emergency, but rebounded slightly after a government minister announced that Pakistani President Musharraf had decided against it.\u003cbr/\u003eLate on Wednesday, speculation grew that Musharraf, a military leader whose popularity is dwindling as he seeks another five-year presidential term, would impose an emergency state in his bid to stay in power.\u003cbr/\u003eTariq Azim, the deputy information minister, said early on Thursday that a state of emergency could not be ruled out because of \"external and internal threats\" and deteriorating security in Pakistan's volatile northwest near the Afghan border.\u003cbr/\u003eInvestors panicked as speculation grew that an emergency could be imminent grew after Musharraf on Wednesday abruptly pulled out of a meeting in Kabul with more than 600 Pakistani and Afghan tribal leaders, phoning Afghan President Hamid Karzai to say he couldn't attend because of \"engagements\" in Islamabad. \u003cbr/\u003e\"Uncertainly has proven, by default, a a state of emergency. \u003cbr/\u003eHe added that almost 20 (b) billion rupees (332 (m) million US dollars) worth of market capitalisation had been
