(Feb. 23)\u003cbr/\u003e [Notes:ANCHOR VOICE]  \u003cbr/\u003e [Notes:broll of the bar scene]\u003cbr/\u003e     For some Hoosiers basketball fans -- news that embattled head coach Kelvin Sampson was on his way out, was less than disappointing. \u003cbr/\u003eSOT :who's kelvin sampson? Exactly. Exactly. \u003cbr/\u003e     Sampson agreed Friday to a 750-thousand dollar buyout.\u003cbr/\u003e     He had been under a cloud of NCAA allegations -- including making improper phone calls to high school players, and giving false and misleading information to investigators.\u003cbr/\u003e     Assistant Dan Dakich will take over for now.\u003cbr/\u003e    Around the Hoosiers' campus, many students were welcoming the news. \u003cbr/\u003eSOT: he's a cheat \u003cbr/\u003eSOT: it was time for him to go\u003cbr/\u003e    Others were disappointed, saying Sampson was nothing like notorious Indiana coach, Bob Knight - \u003cbr/\u003eSOT: I love sampson, I wish we could bring him back, I know he broke some rules -- I saw a sign the other day, hunting accidents, throwing chairs, -- who cares about a few phone calls.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT: I think it's messed up, how it's the middle of the season and they just pull him out like that you know.\u003cbr/\u003e  Athletic Director Rick Greenspan says he's disappointed the Sampson incident has tainted the school's cleancut reputation.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT : disappointment to the fans of our university - who have relatively incident free \u003cbr/\u003e [Notes:broll of the players walking through doors]\u003cbr/\u003e     There were rumors some player may boycott tonight's game against Northwestern University , Athletic Director Rick Greenspan hopes that's not the case.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT: I think much like any student-athlete- they develop a strong affinity for a coach.
