Now there is an operation against al Qaida and these foreign elements have been coming into Pakistan.They are playing a role, getting into our cities, further complicating the issue. Then there is certainly, very surely, a foreign hand, a raw hand, an Indian hand in this which is further complicating the issue because they are taking advantage of the situation and motivating our people and recruiting people to undertake various kinds of extremist acts. Afghanistan.\u003cbr/\u003eIn an interview with The Associated Press, Musharraf said the job Washington began in October when it launched the military campaign in Afghanistan remains incomplete.\u003cbr/\u003eAl-Qaida terrorists are still in Afghanistan and the transitional government has not established control nationwide, he said. \u003cbr/\u003eSome al-Qaida militants have filtered across into Pakistan to link up with extremists whom Musharraf said he is trying to crush.\u003cbr/\u003eMusharraf, who leaves on Friday for the United States, called for an expansion of international peacekeeping work outside Kabul to extend it to at least seven different regions of Afghanistan. \u003cbr/\u003eTogether with the U.S. military, Musharraf said the peacekeepers should wrest power from the warlords who currently rule in the countryside.\u003cbr/\u003eHe rejected any suggestion that the U.S. military should extend operations into Pakistan, where he said \"some
