It's really a way for the actors to commune with other actors, and just be friendly.\"\u003cbr/\u003eYou don't get much nicer than actress Julie Bowen, who, for the second year in a row, said she hoped her \"Modern Family\" colleague, Sophia Vegara, beat her as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a comedy series. \u003cbr/\u003e\"I would love to see her win,\" Bowen said, sincerely. \"(\"Modern Family\" is) now in a very strong, very healthy, but not baby show anymore. And you want to see the love going all around, and not getting stagnant, and not feeling energetic. And we do want everybody to win everything.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe nominees also included Emmy virgins like actor Tony Hale, who received his first nomination for his supporting role in the comedy \"Veep.\"\u003cbr/\u003e\"I'm still kind of digesting what the hell is going on,\" Hale admitted. \"So, I don't really know what's happening. But it's very exciting. And I'm just trying to absorb it, because it's super exciting, because it's crazy- humbling. Even to be here is crazy-humbling.\"\u003cbr/\u003eVeterans were humble, too. \"Behind the Candelabra\" actor Scott Bakula was marking his first time in the Emmy game in 24 years.
