The defence pointed out that the alleged forgery did not have the staple marks found on companion pages.\u003cbr/\u003eThe prosecution then produced the original document and showed it to the jury.\u003cbr/\u003eAn angry defence insisted they should have seen the document before the jury did.\u003cbr/\u003eAnd, the judge agreed.  But, he rejected the defence request to throw out the earlier testimony.\u003cbr/\u003eThe defence tried unsuccessfully to press its case.\u003cbr/\u003e\"\"All right, I'm not inviting argument on that counsel....This argument has gone way beyond its need.
