crisis, to prevent jeopardising the priorities of developing countries.\u003cbr/\u003eMost emerging market stocks have fallen harder in Asia, Russia and Latin America in recent weeks than they have in the Untied States and Western Europe.\u003cbr/\u003eAccording to analysts the reason is that foreign investors, who over the last four years fuelled the emerging markets boom, have lost their appetite for risk amid the credit crunch and are pulling money out to meet redemptions at home.\u003cbr/\u003eOn Wednesday, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said \" our voice on how to manage this crisis in a way that does not jeopardise our development priorities needs to be heard in international councils.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe world needed more than ever a renewed effort to reform the institutions of international governance, under the United Nations or the G-8, he added.\u003cbr/\u003ePresident Motlanthe of South Africa said the hope for future economic recovery potentially lay in developing what has become an unmitigated disaster.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBrazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva told the summit that the developing countries were the victims of a crisis generated by the rich countries.\u003cbr/\u003eBoth Lula and Motlanthe sharply criticised the developed countries as the world reeled under the current financial turmoil.\u003cbr/\u003eTwo years ago, India, Brazil and South Africa agreed to explore ways to cooperate on peaceful uses for nuclear energy under the safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency. \u003cbr/\u003eOn Wednesday, Indian Prime Minister Singh urged South Africa and Brazil also to cooperate in dealing with the increase in energy and food prices and the challenge of terrorism threatening developmental efforts.\u003cbr/\u003eThe IBSA dialogue forum of India, Brazil and South Africa Group was formed in 2003 for political consultations between the three countries. \u003cbr/\u003eThey are due to sign up to seven agreements later on
