Education and protection has to be provided now,\" Kienast said.\u003cbr/\u003ePub crawl organisers are aware of the criticisms. \u003cbr/\u003e\"Insider Tours\", which claims to offer the \"Original Pub Crawl\" and also offers conventional tours, quickly found itself facing competition from other organisers who lure drinkers with the promise of even more free shots.\u003cbr/\u003eStein concedes that there were tours where the abuse of alcohol was part of the programme: \u003cbr/\u003e\"No one even vomits on our tour, it doesn't happen, because we interfere before that point,\" she said. \"but there is this one other company out in Berlin, and they just fill their customers up. They just don't care. And because they have cases where people vomit on the streets or where they lose their customers, or whatever things happen there - it's bad reputation for us as well.\" \u003cbr/\u003eThe Berlin Tourism Marketing company, charged with the world-wide promotion of Berlin as a tourist destination, is critical of the impact of pub crawls on the reputation of the city of Berlin. \u003cbr/\u003e\"No matter whether you meet a pub crawl group as a 'normal' tourist in Berlin or Amsterdam, you are more than likely to feel harassed by it,\" the spokeswoman for Berlin Tourism Marketing, Natascha Kompatzki, told AP Television.\u003cbr/\u003eThe number of tourists visiting the German capital is steadily increasing.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Berlin Tourism Marketing company is placing Berlin in the Top Three, after London and Paris, amongst European city destinations and reported a new tourism record already in 2006 with approximately 7.08 (m) million arrivals and 15.91 (m)
