The visit was published in the Cuban newspaper \"Granma\" and aired on Cuban television. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Venezuelan President showed members of the press in Caracas a copy of the Cuban publication and said Castro looked well. \u003cbr/\u003e\"They said Fidel was dying. November 2005, when Chavez called former President Vicente Fox a \"puppy to the empire\". \u003cbr/\u003eChavez also publicly endorsed Calderon's leftist rival Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador during last year's presidential elections.\u003cbr/\u003eA former army lieutenant colonel who was re-elected with 63 percent of the vote in December, Chavez announced that his government would nationalise oil projects in Venezuela's Orinoco River basin by May 1.\u003cbr/\u003eAny foreign oil company that resists the nationalisation, under which Venezuela's state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela SA would
