the two sides.\u003cbr/\u003eThe meeting marked the opening of the third round in a peace process between the nuclear-armed rivals that has endured despite alleged attacks in India by Kashmiri militants based in Pakistan, and accusations that New Delhi supports insurgents in Pakistan.\u003cbr/\u003eThe new bus link was the latest in a series of confidence-building measures.\u003cbr/\u003eIndian Foreign Secretary Shyam Saran told reporters that the countries hoped to have a bus service linking the towns of Poonch in Indian-administered Kashmir and Rawalakot on the Pakistan-administered side of the Himalayan territory running by March or April.\u003cbr/\u003eSaran said India had also raised concerns about \"cross-border terrorism\" with the Pakistani side subcontinent following independence from Britain in 1947, including two conflicts over Kashmir, divided between them but claimed by both.\u003cbr/\u003eBut tensions have eased considerably since the start of the peace process in 2004.\u003cbr/\u003ePakistani President General Pervez Musharraf said earlier this month that he was disappointed at the lack of progress in the peace process, complaining that India had not responded sufficiently to his ideas for resolving the Kashmir issue.\u003cbr/\u003eIndia has already rejected Musharraf's suggestion for a troop pullout from three key towns in the Indian-controlled part of Kashmir - Srinagar, Kupwara and Baramullah - considered by India to be hotbeds of Islamic
