playing the new board game, \"Impeachment\".\u003cbr/\u003eBased on the recent impeachment trial against Estrada, the idea came after it's creators noticed how the nation had become gripped with the televised proceedings.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe first prototype was launched in early January, just a few days before the trial to a  came sudden end after Estrada was forced by popular protest to leave office.\u003cbr/\u003eVice President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was installed as President.\u003cbr/\u003eBut in the game board version of events, the trial is allowed to continue to its logical conclusion.\u003cbr/\u003eEstrada's fate depends on the luck and skill of the players.\u003cbr/\u003eThe impeachment trial against Estrada was brought about by the allegations of this man, Luis \"Chavit\" Singson.\u003cbr/\u003eSingson accused Estrada of regularly accepting pay-offs from illegal gambling operators.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Philippine Senate was transformed into an impeachment court with its Senators serving as Senator-Judges and\u003cbr/\u003eChief Justice Hilario Davide as Presiding Officer.\u003cbr/\u003eThe board game features all the characters from the trial, from the senator-judges, to witnesses and  counsels.\u003cbr/\u003eThe game is played by two teams, one acting as prosecution and the other as the defense.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe objective is to accumulate the required number of senator-judge cards to gain either a conviction or an acquittal. \u003cbr/\u003eAsked if they were worried about law suits from those mentioned in their game, Bernas it had been a concern but that they had taken legal precautions.\u003cbr/\u003eThe game's designer and illustrator, Alfred Galvez, is a mural painter. \u003cbr/\u003eHe said he enjoyed working on the project because he saw it as another form of art.\u003cbr/\u003eSince the game started selling in late February, its creators say they have been overwhelmed by the response from the public.\u003cbr/\u003eThe
