Koirala seated \u003cbr/\u003eThe health of Nepal's prime minister, who was rushed to the hospital overnight with chest pains, was improving on Tuesday but he will need to remain in intensive care for at least three days, his doctor said.\u003cbr/\u003ePrime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, 84, on was taken to Gangalal Hospital in Katmandu late Monday complaining of chest pains and was admitted to the intensive care unit, according to his nephew and doctor Shekhar Koirala.\u003cbr/\u003eKoirala's personal physician Madhu Ghimire said initial investigations showed patches on his right lung.\u003cbr/\u003eThe prime minister's health has been an issue since he took office in April after King Gyanendra was forced from power amid massive street protests. \u003cbr/\u003eKoirala suffers from heart problems, hypertension and asthma.\u003cbr/\u003eThe doctor said on Tuesday that the prime minister's condition was improving and that he was even speaking a few words. \u003cbr/\u003eFurther tests would be conducted later on the day, he said.\u003cbr/\u003eKoirala's supporters, along with hundreds of government officials, have waited outside the hospital in north Katmandu since the prime minister was first hospitalised.\u003cbr/\u003eKoirala flew to Thailand late last month for a medical check- up, and at the time his doctors said his heart condition was improving.\u003cbr/\u003eThe prime minister had been scheduled on Tuesday to introduce the government's annual policy in Parliament but the announcement was postponed due to his health
