critics, including a wide range of specialists from the University of Guadalajara, the problem is that the Santiago river waters are dirty while those from the Verde river are clean. \u003cbr/\u003eJalisco State Water Commission (CEAS) said the waters could be treated if Guadalajara's sewage flows untreated to the Santiago river are polluted. \u003cbr/\u003eHowever, critics said the economics required to pump all the water through a purification plant would increase the price tag to residents. \u003cbr/\u003eOnce home to 40 families, middle-aged Lara is the last resident of this town and if the concrete dam is erected, she will face a court ordered eviction. \u003cbr/\u003eLeaving Lara without her greatest moral supporter, Jalisco state funded Guadalajara university gave
