He said investigators hadn't disclosed this to defence attorneys, as required by law.\u003cbr/\u003eThe judge ordered prosecutors to disclose the names of witnesses who told police they didn't see Combs with a gun the night of a shooting at a Times Square club.\u003cbr/\u003eJOHNNIE COCHRAN, the lawyer, famous for securing O.J. Simpson's acquittal of the murder charge of his wife, Nicole, is also on Comb's defence team but said little in court. \u003cbr/\u003eDressed in a sober, grey pinstriped suit Sean \"Puffy\", frequently whispered to his lawyers during the hearing, but mostly sat stoically. He yawned and stretched during a discussion of jury selection, which is scheduled to begin Wednesday.\u003cbr/\u003eAt the hearing Brafman also challenged a court gagging order preventing lawyers from speaking about the case to the press. The order has prevented the counsellor from responding to shooting victim NATANIA REUBEN's claims that she saw Combs with a gun during the December 1999 shooting at Club New York which led to his charges. Brafman blasted her anticipated testimony for the prosecution. \u003cbr/\u003e\"I can present 30 witnesses, all with impeccable credentials, who'll say they were in Club New York and this woman is a liar,\" Brafman said. \"This woman is a complete fraud - everything about her is a fraud.\"\u003cbr/\u003eHe also claimed to have unspecified information that \"could put Reuben in jail, \" and scoffed at her public statements that she feared for her life because of threats made in connection with the case.\u003cbr/\u003eCombs' lawyer said he wanted the injunction lifted because, he claimed, the prosecution and law enforcement agencies were attempting to taint the jury pool by leaking information to the press. Judge Charles Solomon refused to modify the gagging order imposed at the request of the prosecution last week.\u003cbr/\u003eReuben, who was shot in the face during the Club New York incident, has filed a separate $130 million lawsuit that names Combs - along with bodyguard Anthony \"Wolf\" Jones and rapper Shyne (born Jamal Barrow), who face weapons and attempted murder charges, respectively - in connection with the incident. Jones and Combs also face bribery charges.\u003cbr/\u003eThis case, regarding Sean Combs gun possession, resumes on Wednesday 17th January when the court will select the jury.\u003cbr/\u003eCombs, who is a hip-hop entrepreneur and entertainer, is charged with gun possession and bribery stemming from the Dec. 27, 1999, shooting at Club New York.
