He's set to perform sold-out shows on Jan. 27, Feb. 3, March 21 and April 28, 2014. He also announced a fifth show in May, which falls on his 65th birthday. \u003cbr/\u003e\"We're gonna dust off some stuff. We're gonna feature more of the album tracks, more obscure songs,\" said Joel after making the announcement. \"We'll still do some songs people are familiar with and like, but we're gonna change it up. It gives you an edge.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBefore taking the podium, he was introduced by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo who called Joel a \"worldwide superstar who values most that he is a hometown hero,\" citing Joel's participation in the Concert for New York City after 9/11, and the 12-12-12 concert for Hurricane Sandy relief.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Bronx-born Joel first performed at MSG in 1978. Since then, he has played the Garden 46 times.\u003cbr/\u003eJoel will perform at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on New Year's Eve.
