Mexican Culture “La Raspa”

Here are three lessons that work together to engage learners in a cultural and musical exploration. In instructional activity one the listen to the Mexican folk song, "La Raspa" and discuss cultural context. In instructional activity two they dance along to both "La Raspa" and "The Mexican Hat Dance." In instructional activity three they perform each dance to the music in celebration of Cinco de Mayo.
